A project intelligenceagent for ahundred-person studio.
An AI colleague that lives inside Microsoft Teams, reads the firm’s SharePoint in real time and answers in seconds. No new tool to learn, read-only access, and nothing leaves the firm’s own Microsoft tenant.

01 / 06
Veda answers inside Teams, where the firm already works.
No new app and nothing to learn. Veda sits in the chat list like a colleague, in the window that is already open all day.
02 / 06
Ask it in the window that is already open.
Type the question the way you would ask a person. What is the plan for a client this month. Who is managing an account. No form, no search syntax.
03 / 06
An answer in seconds, and the files it read.
Veda reads the firm's SharePoint in real time and answers in plain language, with the tracker and the status document it read underneath, so you can open them yourself.
04 / 06
One line back, and the file behind it.
A follow-up gets one line, not a report. Who is the single point of contact, and would you like the latest weekly status. The file it came from is always attached.
05 / 06
It knows burn, SPOC and allocation.
The firm's own words work as they are. Ask for the burn on a project and you get the figure against the plan, from the resource tracker, in the firm's own units.
06 / 06
Read-only, and nothing leaves your tenant.
Veda can read, never write. Every answer comes from your own SharePoint inside your own Microsoft tenant, and every question is logged.
I / Context
Hours spent finding what the firm already knew.
A hundred-person studio runs on its trackers. Project managers spent hours every week checking them and chasing people for updates. Finding out whether a deliverable existed meant opening SharePoint, walking the folders and hoping the naming held.
Lessons from past projects lived in people’s heads, and nothing was watching for a project going over budget or past its date. The data existed. Nobody could ask it a question.
II / Approach
No new tool. Nothing leaves the tenant.
Two decisions shaped everything else. The answer had to arrive where people already work, and the data had to stay where it already lives.
01
It lives in Teams
Veda is a colleague in the chat list, not another app to open. People ask the way they would ask a person, in the window that is already open all day.
No new interface
02
It reads, and only reads
Veda reads the firm’s SharePoint through Microsoft’s own Graph API, with the permissions of a read-only viewer. It cannot write, edit or delete, and no outside database holds a copy.
Read-only
03
It stays inside the tenant
The bot is registered in the firm’s own Azure tenant and signs people in through the identity provider they already use. Commercial data, salaries and HR records are never connected. Every question is logged where IT can review it.
Audited
04
It speaks the firm’s language
Burn, SPOC, allocation. Veda was taught the words the firm uses, so a question asked in shorthand gets an answer in the same shorthand, with the tracker it came from.
Their words
III / Outcomes
An answer in seconds, where the question was asked.
Veda is live in Teams. It answers questions about plans, people and status from the firm’s own files, and names the file behind each answer. The rollout starts with project leads and managers, then the whole team.
Next come a weekly project health view, a check that every deliverable exists, and alerts on deadlines and over-allocation. After that, the org chart and the leave calendar, with each person seeing only what they are already allowed to see.
SecondsFrom a question to an answer, with the file it read
0New tools to learn. It answers inside Teams
Read-onlyOn SharePoint. It cannot write, edit or delete
One costFor the whole team, not a licence per seat. The firm owns what was built
The first week I used it, I asked it the questions I had asked my PMs the week before. The answers matched. The difference was speed.
